CRAIG SELLERS
Lead Guitar and Vocals, Songwriter

A natural music talent, Craig Sellers started playing guitar when he was just 10 years old. He grew up in Maryville, Tennessee and still lives in nearby Walland. Craig says his favorite song is always the last one he wrote, and he's written hundreds including 8 of the 12 songs on his inaugural solo album, "Something Worth Fighting For". Craig started out quietly, mastering the guitar on his own, without an audience. In 2001 he met Paul Wray at a birthday party and the two were soon collaborating, jamming and perfecting their unique sound.

Meanwhile, Craig had started writing music, inspired by a friend who helped him learn the songwriting craft. As he shared his new songs, usually by singing them for Paul and Paul's wife, Sandi, Craig began to find his voice and confidence. Paul and Sandi continued to encourage Craig, while Paul and Craig continued their "garage band' association in Craig's basement. Finally, with Paul as his manager, Craig embarked on the solo direction that produced "Something Worth Fighting For'.

Soon, Paul was joining Craig on stage playing bass, doing back-up vocals, and just generally continuing the evolving process that is now SellersWray. After a brief foray into country music, which included an appearance at the 2005 CMA Music Fest and appearances with noted country stars such as Gretchen Wilson, Phil Vassar, Blaine Larson, and Ricochet, Craig and Paul have returned to their rock and roll roots. Craig's music reflects his real-life experiences and sense of humor, and his deep southern voice is enhanced by the driving rock sounds of SellersWray.
